McHenry, IL: Chroma Color Corporation, leading formulator and supplier of specialty color and additive concentrates and IR absorbing and modifying dyes with an extensive manufacturing footprint throughout the United States, has appointed Mike Crosby to Vice President & General Manager of its Epolin business unit.

Mike joins Chroma Color Corporation from BASF where his most recent role was Global Industry Manager for the Colors & Effects business. Previously, as President and CEO of C&U Americas, he delivered triple digit annual revenue growth and facilitated formation of a joint venture company. Over 30 years of chemical, industrial and automotive experience he has held progressive leadership responsibility over sales, marketing, manufacturing, and engineering in organizations ranging from private start-ups to billion dollar public corporations. These included NSK, a Japanese motion control company as well as Electronic Data Systems which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard. Mike holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in International Business, as well as a lean champion certification.

Mike will work closely with Greg Amato who has led Epolin since 2004 and will be staying with the business through the transition as Mike takes on the leadership role with Greg’s planned retirement in 2021.
