NIR & VISIBLE ABSORBING DYES FOR THERMOPLASTICS
These dyes have demonstrated solubility, suitability, and stability in a variety of different Amorphous thermoplastics. These dyes are stable at high temperatures commonly found in Compounding, Extrusion, and molding systems. Epolight® dyes can be used individually or formulated into Epolight® Dye blends to achieve optical density or light transmission targets. By providing a target spectrum Epolin can computer model a solution matching nearly to the nanometer. Unlike Pigments the dyes will dissolve down to the molecular level and become part of the polymer, maintaining the high transmission levels and clarity of the resin.
As Epolin is innovation driven, our R&D group is constantly developing novel dyes that may not be captured in this list. Please reach out to us to see if there is a superior product solution for your application.
If your application would benefit from a ready to mold pellet, Epolin can compound these dyes into a Luminate ready to mold product for you. Click here to explore our Luminate options: https://epolin.com/epolin_product/formulated-dye-pellets/
