Epolin has introduced a new 719nm absorbing dye, Epolight™ 6818. This is a notch absorber with high absorptivity and reasonable visible light transmittance.
Epolight 6818 is extremely stable and is suitable for injection molding thermoplastics, especially polycarbonate. The dye also has some solubility in organic solvents and can be considered for use in coatings.
